2014 Torbreck Grower's Cut Grenache

This years grower’s cut honours Marcus Schulz and his Primrose Block Grenache vineyard from Kalimna that was planted in 1974. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark to brick red hue. Spicy ripe dark raspberry, liquorice, dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and earth scents sail out of the glass. Soft fleshy textural feel with rich dark cherry, plum and liquorice flavours filling the mouth followed by dark chocolate, vanillin oak, scorched earth and lots of spice on the velvety finish. Good power with a long moreish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
