2014 The Wilson Vineyard Stonecraft Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose is a little closed upon first approach offering up mixed scents of blackcurrant infused with mint followed by some cedary tobacco and spice notes. The palate has an elegant restrained mouthfeel but the flavours are more forthcoming with ripe blackcurrant sitting alongside some subtle mint infusions, cedary tobacco characters and spicy black olive. Dryish finish with fine grained yet very structured tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olive, faint mint infusions and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
