2014 Te Mata Estate Bullnose Syrah

Totally opaque black dark purple core with a dark purple hue. Fragrant aromas of dark plum and liquorice are subtlety overlaid by dried clove and vanillin cedar scents with meaty pepper tail end notes. Medium bodied the palate features savoury flavours of dark cherries, plum and liquorice which sit over a background of vanillin cedar and light dried clove infusions followed by a burst of blackpepper on the finish. Sturdy, fine grained tannins provide an ample framework. Long dark cherry, plum, liquorice, earthy vanillin cedar, faint dried clove and blackpepper aftertaste.
