Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright dark purple hue. Nosing reveals aromas of black cherries and liquorice followed by some vanillin cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has flavours of dark cherries, dark plums and liquorice over some earth and spicy cedar. Dryish, yet quite savoury with solid fine grained tannins. Bright lively finish with an aftertaste of dark cherries, liquorice, earth and spicy cedar.
