Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of ripe blackcurrants, black plum and toasty vanillin oak over earth and spice. Medium to full bodied with a plush textural feel, the palate is stacked with rich blackcurrant, dark plum and subtle liquorice fruits which flow into vanillin cedar, traces of earth and spicy dried herbs. Polished tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Ripe medium to long conclusion.
