2014 Signatory Vintage Ben Nevis 9 Year Old Decanter Collection Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

It seems Signatory have added yet another tier to their portfolio, though it may be more to do with packaging than anything else. "The Decanter Collection" are limited runs bottled in the now familiar heavy-glass Ibisco decanters, originally reserved for cask strength Edradours. They certainly look luxe on the bar shelf, and they're a pleasure to pour from. This young Ben Nevis was drawn from second fill oloroso sherry butts at 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Other reviews... I like it better than the 8-year-old predecessor. Even though it is only one year older, this one is much more harmonious and balanced without any intrusive alcohol sharpness. The sherry is subtle and stays in the background, an honest Ben Nevis. - whiskybase.com
