2014 Ross Hill Maya & Max Chardonnay

Partially fermented by wild yeasts in French oak and partially in tank. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals aromatics of nectarines melded into dried honey and biscuity cashew followed by some citrus and spice. Light to medium weight with a nice creamy feel and bright finish the palate has flavours of ripe nectarines, cashew and dried honey characters over some spicy biscuity oak. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of dried honey, ripe nectarines, cashew and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
