Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant intermixed with dried cherries and black olives followed by cedary tobacco characters and spice. Medium bodied flavours of dried cherries and blackcurrant are to the fore over some cedary tobacco, black olive and spice. Dryish finish with sturdy but relatively fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dried cherries, blackcurrant, tobacco, black olive and spicy cedar.
