2014 Roaring Meg Pinot Noir

Matured for 9 months in French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Lifted ripe dark plum and black cherry aromas are followed by some anise, subtle toasty cedar and spice. Quite plump and juicy the medium bodied palate boasts good richness with generous dark ripe cherries and dark plums leading the way over some anise, subtle earth and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe black cherries, dark plums, anise and spicy cedar.
