2014 Reillys R Saignee Rose

A blend of Grenache, Sangiovese and Tempranillo this Rose displays a translucent bright cherry red colour with a crimson pink hue. The nose displays ripe raspberry and sweet red cherry aromas over a confectionary background. The palate possesses more weight and richness than traditionally expected but then again, this is Rose, Reillys style. Sweet dark raspberry and red cherry flavours fill the palate followed by some plum juice with a very spicy finish. There’s some residual sugar present with an aftertaste of ripe dark raspberries, plum juice and spice. A rich fruity Rose.
