2014 Reillys R Cabernet Sauvignon

A Cabernet with excellent richness and strong varietal character backed by a robust tannin structure.

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Intense blackcurrant and liquorice aromas meld into some cedary tobacco characters with subtle scents of earth and spicy dried herbs also present. Full bodied the palate is loaded with rich blackcurrant fruit which overlays a back drop of cedary tobacco characters, infusions of dried herbs and spice. A robust tannin structure provides the framework. Excellent depth with an aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
