2014 Quarisa Treasures Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in a mix of new and old French and American oak barrels for 16 months. Super impressive depth of colour displaying an inky black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas laced with mint overlay vanillin cedar and spice. Rich and seductive the palate is laden with opulent ripe blackcurrant and liquorice flavours which meld into spicy vanillin cedar and traces of mint. Well-constructed, fine grained tannins provide the framework. Excellent concentration and depth for the price concluding with rich ripe blackcurrant and liquorice fruit, vanillin cedar and mint. A big ripe Coonawarra Cabernet that’s loaded with flavour.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
