2014 Provenance Tarrington Pinot Gris

Sourced from a vineyard established in 1999 near Tarrington in the cool Henty region of south-west Victoria. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. The nose features aromas of ripe pears, baked apples, a hint of honeysuckle and quince end notes. Ripe pear and ripe apple flavours are intermixed with honeysuckle over a back drop of quince and spice. Full textural feel with a creamy element the result of maturation on yeast lees for 10 months. A lick of acidity on the finish keeping everything in balance. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe pears, honeysuckle and spice. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc 12.5%
