2014 Provenance Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of black cherries, subtle liquorice and black olives with a smoky dried meat overlay and blackpepper end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate boasts excellent richness with black cherry, blackberry and liquorice flavours to the fore over some smoky meat characters, spicy cedar and pepper. The very fine grained well integrated tannins possessing good structural qualities. Quite savoury finishing with a long blackpepper, black cherry, smoky dried meats and spicy cedar aftertaste.
