2014 Provenance Golden Plains Chardonnay
The Golden Plains Chardonnay is sourced from three south-west Victorian vineyards made up of 50% Geelong fruit, 25% Henty and the remaining 25% from just south of Ballarat. Matured in a combination of French oak puncheons and barriques (40% new) for 8 months on yeast lees, after which it was blended in tank and left on lees for a further 2 months prior to bottling.

The nose displays scented white peach, pear and dried honey top notes followed by some light cashew and spice. Finishes fresh with a long aftertaste of dried honey melded into fresh white peaches, citrus, subtle cashew and spice.
