2014 Prisoner Cuttings Cabernet Sauvignon

Impressive colour displaying an inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackcurrant and black cherry aromatics sail out of the glass with toasty vanillin cedar, subtle earthy leather elements and spice ensuing. Rich with a big opulent mouthfeel, flavours of cassis, black cherry and liquorice flood the palate underpinned by prominent vanillin oak, elements of scorched earth and spice. Solid yet velvet like tannins. Lavish aftertaste of blackcurrant, black cherry, toasty vanillin oak, earthy tobacco and spice.
