A blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Earthy dark cherry aromas are followed by some dried herbs and spice. Light with a dryish finish the palate has subtle red to dark cherry flavours which are overlaid by some earth and spicy dried herb infusions. Bright acidity with slightly chalky tannins and a modest earth, spicy cherry and dried herb aftertaste.
