2014 Poderi Luigi Einaudi Barolo

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edgings and a rusty brick red hue. The nose offers up a combination of spicy red to dark cherries, dried cherries, subtle tobacco, earth and dried herb aromas. Light to medium weight with elegant rustic like feel, flavours of spicy red and dried cherries sit over a back drop of earthy tobacco elements and dried herbs. Dry finish with lively acidity and chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spicy red and dried cherries, earth and dried herbs.
