Aged in French oak for 12 months. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark plum and liquorice intermix with toasty vanillin oak, a hint of fennel and white pepper. Medium bodied flavours of dark plum and liquorice meld into vanillin cedar, fennel and spicy pepper. Elegantly textured with a refined tannin structure. Aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, fennel, spicy vanillin cedar and light pepper.
