Very deep dark red black colour with a dark purple hue. The nose exhibits liquorice and black cherry aromas over subtlety smoked vanillin cedar with pepper end notes. Medium weight the palate has generous plushly textured flavours of liquorice, blackberries and flashes of black cherries over lightly toasted vanillin cedar and pepper. Very fine grained velvet like tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, smoky vanillin oak and pepper.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
