2014 Pierro Pino's

A blend of 86% Pinot Noir and 14% Shiraz. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light crimson red hue. Fragrant aromatics of violets, ripe cherries and strawberries laced with anise blossom from the glass followed by toasty cedar, dried meats and pepper. Light in body and very savoury, flavours of ripe cherries and strawberries intermixed with dried meats, subtle anise and spicy cedar flow across the palate finishing with a burst of pepper. Supple mouthfeel and velvety tannins. Excellent power wave finishing with a long spicy ripe cherry, strawberry, dried meat, toasty cedar and pepper aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
