2014 Penny's Hill The Experiment Grenache

Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Elevated aromatics of ripe dark raspberries, dark plums and hints of liquorice meld into some dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak notes. Medium weight with a plump juicy mouthfeel the palate is filled with succulent dark raspberry, plum and liquorice flavours that overlay vanillin oak and hints of chocolatey earth like characters with a spicy finish. Soft velvety tannins. Long opulent aftertaste of spicy ripe dark raspberries, dark plum, subtle liquorice and earthy vanillin oak.
