2014 Pedroncelli Mother Clone Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel

Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted dark chocolate and liquorice aromas mix with earth, vanillin oak and leather. A big mouthful of a wine, the palate is swamped with lashings of rich liquorice, blackberry and dark chocolate fruit which sits over a back drop of dusty earth, vanillin oak and spicy leather. Ripe chewy tannins with a long opulent yet rugged aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
