Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Ripe dark plum and dried apricot aromas mix with a smoky struck match like character, earth and spice. Rich plummy liquorice and dried apricot flavours quickly dissipate into a back drop of smoky earth and spicy cedar. It’s beginning to show signs of drying out with a robust tannin structure lingering through the medium length conclusion.
