2014 One Block Yellingbo Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Opening scents of plum and liquorice are overlaid by smoky oak and fennel are followed by spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied the palate has generous dark plum and liquorice fruits which are quickly overwhelmed by smoky oak, scorched earth, fennel and pepper. Finishes dry with chalky like tannins. Moderate aftertaste of plum, liquorice, smoky oak, fennel, scorched earth and pepper.
