2014 One Block The Quarry Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals aromas of nectarines intermixed with hints of citrusy grapefruit like notes followed by some subtle dried honey, biscuity oak and gun flint. Fresh and elegant but with good underlying richness the palate features a flavour profile of nectarine, white peaches and flashes of grapefruit intermingling with subtle dried honey infusions, biscuity oak and flinty mineral. Clean dry finish with bright acidity. Aftertaste of nectarine, citrus, subtle grapefruit, dried honey, biscuit and flinty mineral.
