Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of black cherry infused with meaty peppered notes are followed by some liquorice, clove, smoky cedar and spice. Medium bodied, savoury and elegant the palate features flavours of plum and liquorice overlaid by clove and some meatiness with spicy pepper nuances on the supplely textured finish. Velvet smooth, perfectly integrated tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy plum, liquorice, clove, dried meats and pepper.
