Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Nosing reveals lifted ripe blackcurrant and dried cherry top notes over some black olive, cedary tobacco infusions and spice. Medium weight the palate is filled with very ripe blackcurrant flavours with dried cherry infusions also present followed by some cedary cigar box characters and spice. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, dried cherries, some black olive and spicy cedary cigar box infusions.
