Sourced from Langhorne Creek & McLaren Vale. Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep very dark red black tinged hue. The nose offers up aromatics of ripe black plums, liquorice and black cherries over toasty vanillin oak and spice. Thick and flamboyantly rich the palate is overwhelmed with voluptuous black plum, liquorice and black cherry flavours which peter out to reveal a background of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with a touch of heat present on the finish. Long aftertaste of spicy black plum, liquorice and toasty vanillin oak.
