Totally opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Still quite youthful the nose throws up aromas of juicy dark cherries, liquorice and ripe plums over some spicy vanillin cedar. Medium weight and possessing a juicy mouthfeel the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries, plum and liquorice flavours followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and youthful vibrant acidity. Aftertaste of dark cherries, plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
