2014 Mitchelton Crescent Shiraz Mourvedre Grenache

Matured for 16 months in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barriques. Opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Nosing yields lifted dark plum and liquorice aromas over hints of dark raspberry and earthy vanillin cedar. Medium bodied with a fleshy mouthfeel the palate dishes up a generous flavour profile of dark plums, dark raspberries, liquorice, subtle earthy incense infusions and spice. Velvet smooth tannins concluding with an aftertaste of dark plums, raspberries, liquorice, earthy incense infusions and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
