2014 Maverick Twins Barossa Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Intense liquorice, blackberry and black cherry aromas with a smoky cedar overlay are followed by subtle dried meat characters and pepper. Medium to full bodied with excellent richness and a savoury character the palate features generous black cherry, blackberry and liquorice flavours overlaid by smoky dried meats and pepper. Plush meaty textural feel. Velvet like tannins have good underlying structure. Long pepper infused aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, smoky dried meats and spice.
