Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Nosing reveals a ripe aromatic profile of black cherries, liquorice and dark plums sitting over some spicy vanillin cedar. Sporting good weight the palate dishes up flavours of ripe black cherries and liquorice over a backdrop of vanillin oak, subtle scorched earth and a burst of spice. Slightly dryish tannins impart some chewiness to the back palate. Aftertaste of ripe black cherries, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
