Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose offers up aromas of mulberries and red currants overlaid by cedary pencil shaving characters followed by some dried herbs and spice. Medium bodied with a savoury, elegant feel, flavours of mulberries and red currant dominate over a cedary backdrop with some spicy dried herbs also chipping in. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Moderate aftertaste of mulberries, cedary pencil shaving characters and spicy dried herbs.
