Excellent depth of colour displaying an impenetrable midnight black core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Pronounced top notes of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plum overlay toasty vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has a juicy almost succulent flavour profile of ripe blackberries, dark plums and liquorice with an underlay of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Solidly built tannins give the back palate a slight chewiness. Aftertaste of juicy blackberries, dark plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.
