Aged in seasoned French and American oak.
Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromas of liquorice and blackberries are interlaced with some toasty vanillin cedar and spicy pepper notes. Rich and succulent the palate is generously flavoured with liquorice, black cherry and toasty vanillin cedar finishing quite spicy. Fine grained velvet like tannins. Good length with an aftertaste of spicy liquorice, black cherries, toasty vanillin cedar and pepper. A slightly fresher, more elegant version of Longhop Shiraz.
