Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson hue. Nosing reveals lifted ripe dark cherry and dark plum top notes followed by traces of anise, toasty oak and spice. Medium weight and fleshy the palate is filled with rich and quite luscious flavours of ripe plums, dark cherries and anise over a background of spicy lightly toasted oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of dark plums, dark cherries, anise and spicy lightly toasted oak. A richly flavoured and very savoury Pinot.
