2014 Lightfoot & Sons Myrtle Point Chardonnay

Creamy and rich this is a very impressive Chardonnay for the price.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of delicate white peach, cashew, subtle dried honey and nougat all meld together with some spicy cedar end notes. Medium weight the palate has a rich very creamy mouthfeel and features flavours of dried honey, peaches and cashew over a background of nougat and spicy oak. Clean dry finish. Excellent depth with a long aftertaste of cashew, dried honey, nougat and spicy oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
