Matured for 24 months in new French oak barrels. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Ripe blackcurrant aromas intermix with hints of stewed plum over earthy tobacco, dusty cedar and spice notes. Medium to full bodied with rich blackcurrant fruits dominate over some plum, cedary tobacco characters, earth and spice. Very finely grained tannins. Long blackcurrant, ripe plum, cedary tobacco characters, earth and spice aftertaste.
