2014 Levantine Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

More advanced in colour than you would expect the wine displays a totally opaque black brick red heart with a dark brick red hue. Lifted blackcurrant aromas are overlaid by dried mulberries, black olives, leafy tobacco, spicy cedar and dried herbs. Medium bodied, flavours of red and black currant are infused with dried herbs, leafy tobacco and black olives sitting over some spicy cedar. Dry, slightly bitter finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of red and black currant infused with dried herbs, black olive, leafy tobacco characters and spicy cedar. A very herby Cabernet with a slight bitterness on the finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
