2014 Leconfield Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque midnight black red colour with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and a hint of violets are overlaid by cedary tobacco characters and subtle bay leaf. Medium bodied with good richness and a tight structured finish the palate features blackcurrant and mulberry flavours over cedary cigar box characters, faint bay leaf infusions and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olives and spicy cigar box characters.
Cellar 5-6 years.
