Midnight black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Flowing through the olfactory senses is a bouquet of blackcurrant and liquorice fruits complexed by notions of cigar box, black olives, earth, hints of old leather and spice. Medium bodied, elegant and soft, flavours of blackcurrant and liquorice are beginning to fade as they evolve in tertiary elements of cigar box, earth, black olive and spicy leather. Slightly dryish tannins still retain some chalky grip. Concludes with medium length.
