Sourced from 45 year old vines. Totally opaque dark purple black colour with a bright dark purple hue. The nose exhibits red and blackcurrant fruits gently overlaid with some mint followed by some dusty vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied the palate features elegantly textured flavours of red and blackcurrant fruit splashed with traces of mint, dusty vanillin cedar and spice. Dryish finish with a fine grained tannin structure that imparts some sturdiness to the mouthfeel. Aftertaste of red and blackcurrant, mint, dusty vanillin cedar and spice.
