2014 Klein Constantia Estate Red
Other Reviews....
Medium ruby-red. Musky aromas of cassis, black cherry, tobacco leaf, spices, menthol and black pepper. Smooth, fine-grained flavors of currant, spices and milk chocolate show an unexpected pliancy of texture for a mostly Bordeaux blend from a cool area despite the wine's firm acidity, but that's no complaint. Finishes with even tannins, lingering dark fruit intensity and subtle savory length. Very nicely judged oak here (50% new French). Drink by 2024.

Other Reviews....
A ripe, polished style, with a suave core of currant, cherry and plum confiture notes inlaid with light mocha and singed vanilla notes. Enticing through the finish, in a fruit-forward way. Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Shiraz. 5,000 cases made.
