2014 Kilikanoon Oracle Shiraz

Matured for 20 months in French oak casks.
Outstanding colour saturation displaying an inky pitch black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense dark plum and liquorice aromas overlay fennel, vanillin cedar and pepper notes. Rich with massive size and concentration the palate is flooded with dark plum, blackberry and liquorice aromas which meld nicely into some smoky vanillin cedar, fennel, faint earth and pepper. Lavish in its textural feel yet with great structural substance, a sturdy tannin framework holding everything in place. Outstanding power with a lengthy finish of dark plum, blackberry, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper.
