2014 Katnook Founder's Block Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose shows good lift with blackcurrant, mulberry and cedary tobacco notes followed by hints of black olive and spicy bay leaf. Medium weight, elegant and a touch restrained the palate has flavours of blackcurrant infused with bay leaf, spicy cedar and subtle black olives. Finishes dry with a chalky feel about the tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, bay leaf and spicy cedar.
