Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Blackcurrant and plum aromas emerge from the glass over some cedary tobacco characters and spice. Ripe and succulent the palate has generous blackcurrant, dark plum and liquorice flavours followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Very fine grained tannins. Soft plump mouthfeel. Moderate aftertaste of plum, blackcurrant, vanillin cedar, light tobacco and spice.
