Matured for 22 months in French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry infused with black olive overlay cigar box, dried herbs and spice. Medium to full bodied with plenty of richness and a tight grainy structure, the palate features ripe blackcurrant and mulberry fruit underscored by black olives, cigar box and spicy dried herbs. Firm yet refined tannins provide an excellent framework. Long spicy blackcurrant, mulberry, black olive, cigar box and dried herb aftertaste.
