Totally opaque black dark red colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant gently laced with bay leaf evolve from the glass followed by subtle cedary tobacco characters, light scorched earth and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous blackcurrant and dark cherry flavours over earthy cedar and spice. Dryish finish with ripe chewy tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, subtle bay leaf, earthy cedar and spice.
