The remote Tatiara district is located half way between Adelaide and Melbourne. Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright youthful dark purple hue. The nose displays inky aromas of freshly crushed blackberries, plum and liquorice over a background of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied with abundant richness the palate displays a youthful fruity flavour profile of blackberries, liquorice, inky dark plum and spicy toasted vanillin oak. Fresh lively finish with slightly chalky but fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, fresh blackberries, plum and spicy toasted oak.
